About Us

We are a grassroots movement dedicated to empowering communities through skateboarding. With thousands of members and volunteers, we work together to make skateboarding accessible, inclusive, and a positive force for personal growth and community connection.

The Skateboarding Foundation supports local skate projects, offers educational programmes, and promotes the physical and mental health benefits of the sport.

Every Skateboarding Foundation chapter is an independent initiative.

Learn to Skateboard

Free coaching sessions for ages 8–12

We run accessible, beginner-friendly skateboarding sessions designed to build confidence, coordination, and community. All safety equipment is provided, and our trained youth coaches guide each learner step-by-step in a supportive environment.

Become a youth coach

For 16–20 year olds with skateboarding experience
Pass on your skills and make a difference. We train young skateboarders to become youth coaches through a structured programme informed by best practice in sports instruction and youth work.

Bring TSF to your school or centre

Partner with us to run sessionsWe collaborate with schools, councils and youth organisations to deliver safe, structured, and fun skateboarding programmes — on-site or at local parks. We handle the risk assessments, equipment, and DBS-checked coaches.
